SIXTWENTYEIGHT & CHANGE LLC/ DOUBLEPI PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy governs your use of the mobile software application DoublePi (“Application”), created by Sixtwentyeight, LLC. The Application enables peer-to-peer tax-deductible donations of gently used goods. This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of User Provided Information and Automatically Collected Information as described below. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

 

User Provided Information 


The Application obtains the information you provide when you download the Application, register the Application, and use the Application. During the course of registration and use of the Application, you may provide  (a) registration information such as, but not limited to, your full name, email address, location, age, user name, password. You may choose to not provide personally identifying information (“PII”) during registration, although in order to enjoy a tax deduction related to your donation, you will need to provide your legal name and current address; (b) donation-related information, such as what types of items you would like to offer as a donation, where those items are located, a picture of those items, what the value of those items are, who responds to such donation offers, if you respond to other users interested in the donation item, and whether and where the donation is effectuated; (c) information related to use of the Application such as, but not limited to, contact information and project management information. When you contact Sixtwentyeight, LLC. regarding issues related to the Application, you may be asked to provide further information to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.


Automatically Collected Information


  In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.   


Real Time Location Information

 

When you use Application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to enable donations between users. If you choose to take a picture of the item you’d like to donate, the Application may also collect location-related metadata associated with the picture. We will not share your current location with other users or partners. If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you may turn off location services functionality for the Application located in your mobile device’s account settings. You may also turn off location services functionality within the Application itself. Please note that location services may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

 

Sharing Information with Third-Parties

 

  We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information: • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; • if Sixtwentyeight, LLC. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Website of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.


  Opting Out of Providing Information

 

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can opt-out out of the Application’s use of location-related metadata associated with any pictures taken within the app by changing the settings from within the Application. You can opt-out of the Application’s use of your current location by turning off location services functionality located in your mobile device’s account settings. You may also turn off location services functionality within the Application itself.  


  Retaining Your Information

 

We will retain User Provided Information for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete your User Provided Information that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at privacy@x.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Information may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

 

  Children’s Information

 

Per our Terms of Use, the Application is designed to be used by adults 18 years or older. Furthermore, it is our policy to not solicit data from or market to children under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has used the Application or provided Sixtwentyeight, LLC. with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy@Sixtwentyeight.io. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.  


Information Security

 

One of our top priorities is to safeguard the confidentiality of your information. Towards that end, we have instituted physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve the Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.


Changes to this Policy

 

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message. Your Consent

 

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States.
